Doors Open Day 2024

Penicuik Town Hall will be open for Doors Open Day on Saturday September 14th from 10.00am to 4.00pm .

The Penicuik Heritage Regeneration Project (PHRP) together with the Penicuik Historical Society will be hosting exhibitions about the history of the Town Hall and the achievements of the PHRP over the last 6 years in penicuik Town centre .

The newly restored Hearse House will be open to view with the exhibition inside featuring aspects of the town’s history and heritage and there will be the opportunity to walk around the town centre to view the information panels in the High Street , Bridge Street and The Square as part of the Heritage Trail .
