Penicuik’s Carbon Challenge Hub opens

Penicuik’s Carbon Challenge Hub opened on Saturday in John Street . The Penicuik Heritage Regeneration Project is delighted to be collaborating with the Penicuik Carbon Challenge (Penicuik Community Development Trust managed project).This project is funded by Keep Scotland beautiful with the aim to support the Penicuik community to become more sustainable through everyday actions that reduce carbon.Every small local action plays a vital part in tackling climate change.There is a tool library, re-makery and bike maintenance station.One focus is on supporting the local high street and regeneration a key feature of the heritage project .
