Paper Prisons.Penicuik and the Napoleonic Prisoners of War

Sean Watson , the PHRP Archivist has produced a paper on the French prisoners of war who were imprisoned in Penicuik Paper Mills in 1811.The story is illustrated with cartoons about sea battles, the forced march from Edinburgh to Penicuik and escaping from the mills .
