Penicuik Hunter and Lass

The Penicuik Heritage Regeneration Project (PHRP) had a stand in the Park at the Hunter and Lass event with Craig Frew Conservation ltd, one of the project’s training providers on Saturday 28th May 2022.The stand was there to promote the work of the PHRP but also to demonstrate traditional construction skills and to encourage people to participate in some stone carving, timber sash and case window repair, roof slating and plaster and traditional lime mortar work .Craig and his team did a great job explaining and demonstrating their skills. It was a fine day and very well attended. There were many stands in Penicuik Park and everyone had a great day out celebrating the return of the Hunter and Lass parade after 2 years of absence due to the pandemic.
